HOW DO I BEGIN TRAINING?
Beginning to train with the PHCC-GSA-PUAC Plumbing Apprenticeship and Trainee Program is easy!
Plumbing Contractors
If you are a contractor and you would like to train your existing employees or hire new employees who have already applied to the PHCC Programs, call the
PHCC-GSA-PUAC Training Facility at (916) 640-0910 and we will assist you in completing all the necessary forms (Click here for the Forms Page).
Please check the Testing Schedule and send your employees to one of the testing dates in your area, or contact us to make testing arrangements,
if applicant is unavailable during pre-scheduled times.
Apprentices/Trainees
If you are a potential student with the PHCC Program, you will need
to first complete an application.
Then you will take a written examination consisting of reading
comprehension, math and using a ruler. After passing all
phases of the exam with a 70% or higher mark, you will be given an
oral interview. You are now ready to begin the training
program and will receive a welcome package, along with On-The-Job
training time cards to be completed monthly.
